Website and waitlist privacy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This notice covers the LexSwap website and its waitlist. The LexSwap browser extension has its own privacy policy, which you'll find on its Chrome Web Store page.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To email you when LexSwap launches |
| The language you're learning (and, on some pages, the language you read in) | To send you the right launch email and to know which languages to improve first |
| Whether you ticked "Also send me occasional progress updates" | So we only send updates to people who asked for them |
| Which page you signed up on and the campaign tags in the link (for example "utm_source=reddit") | To see which pages and announcements work, as anonymous totals |
| The date you signed up | To keep the list in order |
That's all. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking pixels. It loads no third-party scripts or fonts. We don't save your IP address. A scrambled, one-way version of it is used for one day only, to stop someone signing up hundreds of fake emails.
What we do with it
- We send you one email when LexSwap launches. If you ticked the box, we also send occasional progress updates, at most 2 a month.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- We never sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their own use.
Where it's stored
Sign-ups are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, which hosts our server. If we use an email service to send the launch email, your email address will be passed to that service only to send our messages.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see or delete your sign-up, or to stop all emails. Write to rausl.nabili@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We'll delete the waitlist when it's no longer needed after launch.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If we ever add analytics or ad tracking to the website, we'll say so here first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
